Costs go down, comfort goes up

Companies especially are using Voice-over-IP to an increasing extent in order to connect the telephone network and the computer network. The transportation of data in telephone conversations for signalisation and transmission of the digitalised speech is done using the EDP-network (LAN). In this way, the infrastructure costs can be reduced because the cabling will be uniform, and the number of active system components comes down. IP-telephones are normally plugged into the network connection, like a desktop PC, and can be taken along on business trips. With the optional VPN-module, the employee remains accessible across the world, and across all firewalls, under the same telephone number.

FiberPhone - no license costs

FiberPhone telephone units are based on Asterisk, one of the leading software based telephone installation solutions in the world.

Asterisk is very efficient and reliable, but also very complex in its administration. That is why we have developed a GUI based on a database for our FiberPhone telephone installations. This makes the operations intuitive.

The basic configuration of the installation will be done by the Fiberworks technicians, and the installation can also be delivered pre-configured. In this way, the customer will be in a position to configure all the important functions via browser, and start using the installation.

Special care has been taken to ensure that the software and hardware are compatible. This leads to an above the average stability and performance of our systems.

There are no licensing costs for the FiberPhone: you don't have to pay per user. Thus, even with just 50 users, the FiberPhone turns out to be many times cheaper than the competition!

Service

The Fiberworks VoIP telephone units have been optimised for low costs and best availability. There are various options for securing operations.

  • Preliminary exchange: The most inexpensive variant is to replace the hardware. If components fail, you will receive a replacement within 48 hours. All the device installations and configurations will be automatically backed up daily and, in the event of replacement, transferred to your new hardware. Thus, in the event of failure, you will get from us a new, fully functional and readily configured telephone equipment.
  • Cold Standby: Here you will acquire and install two telephone units. One of these will be active. In the event of failure, you will simply remove the Flash card from Unit A and insert it into Unit B and continue operations. The faulty unit can now be repaired.
  • High availability: We provide the high availability option for our commercial and enterprise installations. Here, even the active ISDN / PMX components (switches) will have to be used. In the event of failure, the Unit B will take over automatically.
